Naxcorrstaff has extensive experiences with ECDA and ICDA.
ECDA has four steps in accordance with the NACE SP0502-2010:
1. Pre-Assessment :
Data collection and review of all available historical data to determine if ECDA is feasible.
Defining ECDA regions
Selecting indirect inspection tools.
2. Indirect Inspection : Aboveground inspections to identify and define the severity of coating faults, other anomalies, and areas where corrosion activity may have or may be occurring in the areas under investigation.
3. Direct Examination : Analyses of indirect inspection data to permit the selection of sites for excavations and pipe surface evaluations.
4. Post Assessment : Analyses of data collected from the previous three steps to assess the efficacy of the ECDA and determinations of re-assessment intervals.
